We Have Liftoff!

That title really makes no sense to what I’m talking about BUT we have successfully SLEPT THROUGH THE NIGHT!

NINE hours, people! Nine blissfull, restful, amazing hours.
It couldn’t have come at a better time. The Hubs was having a pretty crabby day because for the last several nights he didn’t sleep well. I mean, we’re all used to getting up for a bottle but he would start doing laundry or some other random chore, at one in the morning. Which of course isn’t ideal for your sleep schedule.
The boys napped terribly all day yesterday. Little half hour stints, which is highly unusual for these Nuggets.
Then they decided bed time should be two hours later than normal, as well.
All of these things stressed this mommy out, to the max. I’m used to their schedules. They are happy babies when on their schedule. A schedule they set. Why stray from something that is working well?!?
Then, they did it.
They slept through the entire night.
At 6:45 am, I woke up not believing my eyes.
Granted, I woke at 1am, 3am, and 5am listening for them. But it was still wonderful to go right back to sleep.
I am not counting on it to happen again tonight but I think it’s at least a step in the right direction!

Look at that belly on Weston!

Xoxo – Lindsey

YAY for a good night sleep! Eddie slept from about 6:45-3:45. However, I got up to pump at around 3, then he woke up at 3:45, I nursed him for about 10 minutes and then went back to sleep for an hour or so – and then he decied to wake up for the day at 5. He usually gets up between 5:30-6:00 — so 5am felt so early 😦 I tried to bring him unto bed with me to get a few extra minutes of sleep — but it was a huge disaster. He was trying to get (soundly sleeping) Kevin's attention, he started singing.. blowing spit bubbles and raspberries. Good timeeeeeeeees.

What do ya think?
