Yuck

Ya know how I’ve been saying that I’ve been feeling pretty great? Not much morning sickness?  I must have spoke too soon.

I feel like poo.

“The second trimester is when women usually feel at their best” according to WebMD.  Not this woman.  I get a killer headache almost nightly.  My morning sickness usually hits after every meal.  Wha?  It’s not exactly consistent every day but none of it is fun.

I’ve been trying to eat peppermints. I’ve learned that mint is supposed to help settle your stomach. I’m not actually re-seeing my meals but just over all yucky feeling.

Oh and I finally bought a few maternity clothes items.  I’ve been utilizing a Bella Band which has been a savior – best invention ever but it’ll only last a little bit longer. I went into Destination Maternity.  First, I noticed there were all these cute clothes!  It’s also two stores in one.  Pea in the Pod and Motherhood.  I was astounded at the prices in the Pea in the Pod section.  One pair of capris was $89.00, a dress was $129….I was starting to worry.  I mean, really?  I don’t want to spend that kind of money on clothing I’m going to wear for 8 months.  I wandered to the Motherhood side of the store and was able to exhale in relief.  They were a much more manageable price of $34.99.  I was impressed. AND they had pants that came in long lengths!  Yay!  I didn’t have to wear “ankle” pants the entire pregnancy 🙂

The Nuggets are the size of a peach this week and I’m excited for my ultra sound at the end of this month where they are going to start looking more distinctly like babies!!
