Last night I went with my brother to purchase his new truck. He was very excited and needed someone “level headed” to go with him. I agreed and right after work he swung by to pick me up. Now if you’ve bought a vehicle before, your aware that it’s not exactly a quick process. Well my bro had already done his home work and therefore wanted a test drive and to discuss the price. Pretty quickly he made up his mind. I left and was home around 8ish.
Then proceeded eat some dinner (Amy’s Vegan Chili w/brown rice and cheddar cheese – super easy and yummy) and sit on the couch until bed time. My new found hobby of reading blogs/Pintrest which includes crafting, cooking and lots of DIY bloggers has made me realize I spend too much time “relaxing” on the couch. There is so much more I could be doing.
1. I know I should be hitting the gym more often
2. I received a sewing machine as a Christmas gift, like 3 years ago and the most I’ve done is stitch up a few clothes here and there and lastly,
3. I really want to be more crafty
4. The dreaded MBA that I still haven’t even started on yet…
So I’m starting my new years resolutions early (just a bit) and I’m resolving to do more in the evenings. Occasionally on a tough work day, a glass of wine and a movie is appropriate but not every day. I’ve gotten into this lazy habit and I’m done with it.
So my first idea is at least once a week, cook/bake something completely new and or craft project. I have several ideas:
I did branch out on Sunday and make Pumpkin Cream Cheese Muffins that I found on a blog that I cannot locate š¦ They came out really great and I’ll try and share the recipe later…so I’m making baby steps. Now T-day is right around the corner so I’ll have to get cracking on the onsie quickly.
I’m new to the blogging world so I’m not sure how to link things exactly but I’ll figure it out slowly. At this point I don’t have any followers so I’m not worried š If you’re interesting, they will come.
Until next time.
